apws.pl v7.06.22 (AllPosters.com) — New Script

We are pleased to announce the release of a new store generator script called apws.pl that is designed to display posters and prints based on the live XML datafeed from AllPosters.com.

Our apws.pl script for AllPosters.com is comparable to our Associate Engine ae.pl script for Amazon.com.

Unlike our older allposters.pl script, the apws.pl script is dynamic and output is generated "on-the-fly" by merging live product data from AllPosters.com Web Services (APCWS) with your templates.

With apws.pl, your pages always display the latest products and latest prices.

Features of apws.pl include:

  • output generated on-the-fly; no need to run a "make" program.
  • selection of any category as your root category (e.g.: Cats and its subcategories).
  • selection of any categories to form your own custom root category (e.g. Cats, Dogs, and Movies and their subcategories).
  • multi-language support (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian).
  • multi-currency support (USD, AUD, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NOK, NZD, SEK, SGD, ZAR).
  • search criteria (keywords, category, min/max price/height/width).
  • inclusion in webpages via SSI, <script>, PHP.
  • customization via templates.

If you are using any of our DySE scripts, we recommend that you upgrade view.pl. Upgrading is mandatory if you use any DySE merchant module that is v7.06.22 or higher. To get faster Google sitemaps, the merchant module must also be v7.06.22 or higher.

Upgrade instructions: Replace view.pl with this one.

All of the DySE Merchant Module scripts (e.g.: DySE::InstrumentPro) have been updated to the same version (v7.06.22). Now they all have the same revisions and features. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest DySE scripts at this time.

The major new improvement is faster Google sitemaps.

Upgrade instructions:

  1. Download the latest DySE view.pl script via www.c3scripts.com/download
  2. Replace view.pl on your server.
  3. Download the latest DySE scripts via www.c3scripts.com/download
  4. Replace make.pl, and replace make2.pl on your server.
  5. Run make.pl

The Associate Engine ae.pl script has been updated. This is a formal release of v7.04.20-beta. If you are using v5.12.17 (or earlier), we recommend that you upgrade to this latest version of ae.pl
