System Requirements

The following system requirements are required to run the Associate Engine script:

• cgi-bin
• Perl 5 (usually accessible as /usr/bin/perl or /usr/local/bin/perl)
• Perl module: LWP::Simple (libwww-v5.53 or later recommended)
• Perl module: Compress::Zlib (optional)
• FTP access so you can upload the script and any associates files

Ask your system administrator if your webserver meets these requirements. Or install the free demo version of the script and try it out (see Installation section).

You must have at least a beginner's understanding of how to create and upload a web page, and how to insert links into a web page. See the "New Users: Start Here" step-by-step guide
